Many of our members share a common goal of feeling confident and comfortable in their bodies when heading off on holidays.

It's important to feel our best and enjoy our time in the sun.

While aesthetics aren't everything, it's still nice to feel confident in our own skin.

Here are some strategies that one of our busy working moms followed to prepare for her two-week holiday:

Aimed for over 10,000 steps a day:

While the number itself may not hold any magical properties, making an effort to achieve this step count goal helps to ensure that your activity levels stay high.

Increased gym attendance to four days a week:

She decided to take her gym commitment up a notch by attending four sessions per week instead of her usual three. This increased frequency allowed her to focus on toning her body while also burning off extra calories.

Track calorie intake:

Using the MyFitnessPal app, our member logged her food to keep track of her calorie intake. This step allowed her to maintain a balanced approach to her diet while still enjoying her glasses of wine and dinners out.

By monitoring her calorie consumption, she ensured that she was in a calorie deficit, This also allowed her to drop the Ibs without feeling deprived or restricted.

Staying hydrated with over 2 liters of water a day:

She made it a point to drink more than 2 liters of water each day. To make reaching this target more enjoyable, she added a small amount of sugar-free flavoring to her water, making it easier to stay consistent with her hydration goal.

Accountability:

One of the key factors in her success was the support and accountability provided by having coaches. Having someone to keep her on track, provide guidance, and offer encouragement was invaluable. Having a coach helped her stay motivated, make adjustments to her plan when necessary, and celebrate her progress along the way.

None of these steps are extreme or unattainable and with the right mindset and proper coaching, anyone can implement these strategies into their lifestyle
